PINPOINT II Oxygen Monitor™ will quickly and accurately display a digital readout for dissolved oxygen in either % oxygen or ppm saturation.  The measurement range is 00.0 – 20.0 ppm.  The probe is a high performance polarographic type, which uses pre-loaded Teflon membrane caps and electrolyte fluid. This is the #1 preferred oxygen monitor in the aquaculture industry.  The PINPOINT II Oxygen Monitor™ is an extremely good value, considering its high precision and ruggedness.   The PINPOINT II Oxygen Monitor™ comes complete with Membrane caps and electrolyte fluid, probe with 5-foot cable and meter.  Extra Membrane Cap/Fluid kits are available, and the 4-meter probe extension cord is an optional accessory.   The commercial aquaculture market purchases a significant number of these units on a very regular basis.

  • Full range dissolved oxygen display 00.0 - 20.0 ppm.
  • Accuracy +/- 3% of displayed reading.
  • Sampling rate is 0.4 times per second.
  • Features temperature compensated polarographic
  • probe with 1 meter cord, 5 extra teflon membranes, and probe electrolyte fluid.
  • No calibration fluids needed; uses % of oxygen in atmosphere as a reference (20.9%).
  • Optional 4 meter Oxygen Probe Extension Cord is available to increase probe length.
  • 9 volt battery supplied by Aquarium Instruments
  • Calibration screwdriver supplied by Aquarium Instruments
  • Optional Teflon Membrane Kit available (2 Membranes and Solution).

Waterproof Dissolved Oxygen Meter - Model 9142

HI-9142

  • Waterproof Casing
  • Automatic Temperature Compensation
  • Simple-to-use

The ever increasing demand for instant results for on-site analyses has created a constant need for waterproof portable meter.  The cold, rain, snow and dust associated with use in the field, may damage a meter, rapidly deteriorating its performance and life.  This meter is a rugged, water resistant meter that solves the common problems of field use.

It is very simple to use: calibration is performed with a zero oxygen solution while 100% calibration is done in air.  There is no need to use chemical solutions or go through time consuming calibration processes.  The polarographic probe will take measurements accurate to 0.2 ppm O2/liter in less than 1 minute and is equipped with a 13' (4m) cable that allows measurements to be taken in even hard to reach places.

For applications that require a longer probe cable, the Optional 76407/10 probe with a 32.8 foot (10 meter) cable is available.  The conic shape of the probe allows it to be used in all BOD5 measurements making it a truly versatile instrument.

Includes 76407/4 D.O. probe, 2 spare membranes, 7041S electrolyte solution, 4 x 1.5V AA batteries and instruction manual in a rugged carrying case.

  • Automatic Calibration
  • Extended DO Range
  • Auto-Temperature Compensation
  • Auto Shut-off
  • Altitude Compensation
  • Salinity Compenstion
Cold, rain, snow, dust and humidity associated with use in the field can cause condensation which may damage a meter, rapidly deteriorating its performance and life.  Designed for outdoor applications, especially waste water treatment and fish farming.  Simple on-site calibration requires no chemical solutions.  Just expose the probe to air and press the CAL button.  In a few minutes the meter is calibrated and ready to use. Auto-calibration eliminates the need to use a screwdriver or other devices to adjust the reading.  Provides readings of O2 (% or mg/l), temperature, compensation of salinity and altitude factors.  Compensates for temperature effect.  HI 9143 supplied complete with HI 76407/4 D.O. probe with 4 m (13') cable, 2 spare membranes, HI 7041S electrolyte solution, 4 x 1.5V AA batteries and instruction manual in a rugged carrying case.
