SpectraSelect"! Ultra-High Rejection RO Membranes

SpectraPure® SpectraSelect Membranes are handpicked for consistent ultra-high rejection, and have the highest known rejection rate of all reverse osmosis membranes availble. No other membrane can match the SpectraSelect for long life of the ability to remove silica phosphates, nitrates, and heavy metals. SpectraSelect Membranes produce higher-purity water and double the life of DI cartridges used in RO/DI Systems. SpectraSelect Membranes are standard equipment in our Deluxe Reverse Osmosis and RO/DI Systems. The SpectraSelect Ultra-High Rejection Membrane is also available as a replacement option for most Reverse Osmosis Systems.

REPLACEMENT CARBON PRE-FILTERS

For maximum contaminant removal and long membrane life, the sediment and carbon pre-filters must be changed at 6-month intervals. If your water contains a great deal of sediment or chlorine, the pre-filters might have to be changed at more frequent intervals to maintain an adequate production rate. A main function of the Carbon Block pre-filter is chlorine removal to protect the TFC membrane from damage. Carbon filters have a finite capacity for removing chlorine, and the lifetime will depend on the level of chlorine in the water and the amount processed.

Replacement Carbon Block Pre-Filters remove chlorine, organic chemicals and chemicals that contribute to taste and odor. These filters act as almost absolute-rated sediment filters. They are much more efficient than the granulated carbon filters because there is no channeling or bypassing of fluids. They also have higher adsorptive efficiency and higher turbidity reduction than granular filters.

Removes chlorine, organics, taste & odor; Dual-purpose - combination sediment and carbon filter

Excellent service life; No channeling or bypassing of fluids; Only the 0.5 micron carbon block filter removes trihalomethanes, chloramines, pesticides, volatile organic chemicals and 99.95% of giardia and cryptosporidium cysts. Meets the NSF Standards

Size (O.D. X length) - 2.5" x 10".

'Silica-Buster' Cartridges - (DI-SB-10) Non-color change. SpectraPure s mixed bed multi-layer de-ionization cartridges are fabricated with semiconductor grade resins for highest possible purity. They are capable of producing 18 MOhm resistivity water. They are the first de-ionization cartridges designed to reduce silica, nitrates & phosphate levels in the low ppb range. These newly formulated cartridges far exceed the performance of previous cartridges, offering enhanced contaminant removal, longer life and higher purity. Highest silica, nitrate, phosphate, and heavy metal removal of any 10 inch DI cartridge with 33% greater capacity. Aluminized mylar packaging eliminates DI cartridge degradation. Color Change Cartridge DI-SB-CC-10: This cartridge does not use semi-conductor grade resins.

Color Change Cartridge DI-MB-CI-10 (was DI-MBCC-10):17 MOhm resistivity. Removes all ionized impurities. Use this cartridge in MPDI or Color-indicating Systems.

IMPORTANT NOTE: DI cartridges have a shelf life of one year. The average life span of the resin cartridge is between 300 to 500 gallons depending on the quality of the water being processed.
