remove over 98% of sediment, chlorine, pollutants, bacteria and other contaminants, to produce high-purity, good tasting water. SpectraPure® Systems operate on normal city or well water with pressure greater than 40 psi, and are designed for home, hobby, and light commercial applications. Line Pressure Operated RO Systems are available in production rates of 15 to 160 gallons per day (gpd). Several performance and utility options are also available in these models, many of which are standard on our Deluxe Models. Complete RO Drinking Water Systems are also available.
Our Line Pressure Operated RO Systems Will:
remove over 98% of all ionic impurities
remove over 95% of organic impurities
remove colloidal and particulate impurities
remove microorganisms and pyrogens
remove chlorine, chloramines, pesticides etc.
SpectraPure®Reverse Osmosis Systems provide superior rejection of ionic, organic and particulate impurities and thus produce contaminant-free water. Line-pressure operated systems operate on household water pressure. We use superior quality, 100% tested, TFC membranes in our RO systems. TFC membranes used are rated at standard feed conditions of 60 PSI (4.1 Bar) at 77°F (25°C), and 500 ppm TDS (750 µS conductivity).
We test every single membrane for flow and rejection.
All systems include a 3/4 inch garden hose adapter. A quick-connect snap coupler is available at additional cost.
Reverse Osmosis Deionization (RO/DI) Systems
SpectraPure®Line Pressure Operated RO/DI Systems are designed to further purify the RO product water by passing it through a DI (deionization) cartridge which is integrated into the system. The DI cartridge contains ion exchange resins which remove the last traces of contaminants from the RO product water. RO/DI Systems from SpectraPure® incorporate a complete line of specialized deionizing cartridges to treat virtually any problem water source, from colloidal silica to chloramines. SpectraPure® RO/DI Systems are designed for high-tech hobby, laboratory, and other ultra-pure water applications. RO/DI Systems are available in production rates of 15 to 160 gallons per day.
Our RO/DI Systems Will:
remove over 99.9% of all ionic impurities
remove over 95% of organic impurities
remove colloidal and particulate impurities
remove microorganisms and pyrogens
remove chlorine, chloramines, pesticides etc.

Deionization Systems -- The SpectraPure® Specialty
SpectraPure® is a leader in Deionization technology. Our Deionization Systems are unequaled anywhere in the world! Our engineer and president, Charles Mitsis, has created these systems after years of research into specialized water problems, and offers deionization solutions that solve every variety of water source contamination. Examine the competition, and you will see that no other manufacturer offers technology on par with SpectraPure® DI Systems.
SpectraPure®Deionization Cartridges have a mixed-bed multi-layered design especially optimized for use after RO and Distillation systems.
SpectraPure®Mixed-Bed Deionizing Systems use the same great technology as our RO/DI Systems. Mixed-Bed DI Systems are designed to be added to an existing RO System, and are available with cartridge sizes from 10 by 2 1/2 inch to 20 inch.
Mixed-Bed Deionization Systems convert existing RO systems into ultra-high purity RO/DI systems. Mixed-Bed Deionization Systems feature ultra-pure semiconductor grade resins to assure the highest quality water, free of all contaminants.
Color-Indicating Deionization Systems offer an economical alternative to non-dyed, semiconductor grade resin. The resin will color-change upon exhaustion to show the remaining capacity of the cartridge, and does not require resistivity monitoring equipment. Color-indicating resin offers the only practical means of determining the exhaustion point of strong-base anion resin. For water supplies having chloramine or ammonia content, the SpectraPure® Two-Stage D-CI-ARZ-10 System has much higher capacity and longer lasting cartridges.
SpectraPure'sNEWFour-StageUltimate"! DI System is optimized for use with RO water, and provides the most complete removal of silica, colloidal silica, phosphates, nitrates, and heavy metals available. The Ultimate"! eliminates contaminant leakage from exhausted DI cartridges, through the utilization of secondary back-up cartridges. The Ultimate"! is also available as a system optimized for water sources treated with chloramine or ammonia. This model has all the advantages of the standard Ultimate"! System, plus Stages 3 and 4 have our Chloramine Removal Cartridges, and will provide longer life than the standard mixed-bed cartridges. Any RO/DI System can be converted to The Ultimate"!, using our D-CI-SIL3-10.
